Halloween on a Saturday? We'll take it. Whether you're in it for the costumes, the candy, or a giant slide at a pumpkin patch, the Phoenix area has plenty going on this weekend.
And if this is your first fall since your move to Phoenix, Arizona, here's a fun one: when the rest of the country turns the clocks back on Sunday, November 1, most of Arizona won't. We don't do daylight saving time. One less thing to worry about after a late night of trick-or-treating.
Here are 10 things to do from Friday, October 30 through Sunday, November 1.
1. Catch the last weekend of the Arizona State Fair
The Arizona State Fair wraps up Sunday, November 1, at the State Fairgrounds on McDowell Road in Phoenix. It's open Thursday through Sunday, with gates opening at noon. Rides, fried everything, and one last chance until next year.

3. Tolmachoff Farms, Glendale
Tolmachoff Farms' Pumpkin Days runs through October 31, with a family corn maze, a mini maze for little ones, a petting zoo, and a big pumpkin patch. Brave enough for more? Its separate AZ Field of Screams haunted maze is open Friday, Saturday, and Halloween night from 7 to 11 p.m.
